As a course opener, you will have the opportunity to work for the leading provider in Sweden of qualified education within auditing, accounting, tax, and controlling. We are now looking for you who are service-oriented and want a rewarding part-time job for the autumn!
About the role
Academic Work is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Course Opener within the Education sector. The education business area delivers more than 100 different courses in auditing, accounting, tax, and controlling. Project managers now need support during the autumn courses, and we are looking for you who are accommodating and comfortable standing in front of participants to welcome them at the start of each course session!
As a course opener, you will act as the right hand to the project managers. Your responsibility will be to ensure everything is in order before the course starts and to offer the highest level of service to participants and lecturers. This is the perfect part-time job for you who want an extra income alongside your studies but do not want to take up too much time from school. You are expected to be available for at least 1 shift per week.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all materials are unpacked and placed out before the course sessions
- Verify that everything at the course venues matches what the project managers have ordered
- Welcome participants at the start of the course and inform them about practical details
We are looking for you who
- Are studying at least 50% at a post-secondary level with a graduation date no earlier than 2028, or have another long-term main occupation of at least 50%
- Can work at least 1 shift/week between Monday and Thursday
- Have high availability during November (as this is the most intensive period)
- Have previous experience working in service
- Speak and write Swedish fluently, as the language will be used in daily work

Additional information
- Start: Introduction in mid/late August
- Hours: Shifts are scheduled in the morning between approx. 07:00 – 09:30, deviations may occur. Regardless of whether your shift is shorter, you will always be paid for at least 3 hours.
