Kungälv Municipality is developing and growing. We work to support the organization's needs in all these areas. The HR group's overarching mandate includes managing and developing HR work to support the municipality's growth goals. We want to be an attractive workplace for all our employees.

We work in an activity-based office environment with new technology, and you will become part of our dedicated HR group as we now seek an HR Specialist on a temporary contract. The HR unit is organized under the staff function Development and Innovation.

Job Responsibilities

Are you an independent HR Specialist who enjoys taking overall responsibility? Are you skilled at using your competence and experience and want to join us in our strive to constantly improve our HR processes and work broadly for the operations? In the role of Acting HR Specialist, you will support managers within the Security and Support sector in all areas of HR. We are divided into different sector teams, and together with colleagues in your team, you will support the sector and have your own areas of responsibility. The tasks are broad, and you will work with operational, administrative, consultative, and strategic issues. You should be prepared to handle personnel matters from start to finish. The distribution between operational support/core tasks and HR processes is estimated to be 85% operational support/core tasks and 15% work on HR processes. To succeed in this role, you need to be someone who is stimulated by challenges and responsibility and who takes initiative to improve, develop, and streamline your support within the HR area.

You will plan your work independently, but you are never alone! We have regular meetings at the unit where we share knowledge, support, and develop each other without hierarchy. Within HR processes, you also have colleagues you work closely with, who may not be in your sector team. You have opportunities to grow in your role and to influence and develop the operations with your ideas and feedback. Qualifications

We require that you have what the employer considers a relevant higher education or university degree with a focus on HR/PA where labor law has been included. You should have at least three years of experience as an HR Specialist from the public sector, and to handle the assignment, you must have experience in independently driving personnel matters from start to solution.

To thrive with us, you need to be self-reliant and have high collaboration skills, as well as take responsibility for ensuring that both your own and joint tasks are carried out and completed correctly. You should enjoy working with our core task, which is to provide close operational support and work with agreements, labor law, and individual and rehabilitation cases! As a person, you are also service-oriented, communicative, and enjoy helping out.

Your working style is methodical, structured, analytical, and solution-oriented, and you have a good ability to turn ideas into reality. You work efficiently, can balance different demands, and keep your cool in difficult and complex situations. You work with great commitment and are skilled at building relationships. You can express yourself well in speech and writing, as the assignment includes writing labor law investigations and service statements. Naturally, you have good IT skills.
