As a Project Controller, you will become a key business partner to the Finance Manager and Project Managers within an international and technology-intensive operation. You will work closely with projects and the organization regarding financial control, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

A key part of the role is to identify risks, opportunities, and changing conditions early on, while providing decision support and suggestions for improvement. The operation develops advanced solutions within areas such as security, traffic management, and decision support.

The assignment is a consulting role starting on August 16, 2026, and running until March 16, 2027. The location is in Växjö or Gothenburg.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Support projects and project managers with financial matters
• Be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
• Analyze the financial results and development of projects
• Identify risks, challenges, and business opportunities
• Develop proposals for improvements and corrective actions
• Contribute to increased cost awareness within the operation
• Challenge and support the organization in financial and business matters
• Communicate early warning signals when conditions change
• Present and explain financial information in a clear and pedagogical manner

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Have at least 3–7 years of relevant experience in project controlling, business controlling, or similar work
• Have experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Have a good understanding of accounting and financial follow-up
• Have fluent skills in English, both spoken and written
• Have very good knowledge of the MS Office package
• Have the ability to analyze financial data and identify deviations, risks, and opportunities
• Have experience working independently and taking responsibility for your own areas
• Have the ability to function as a qualified financial support for project managers and the operation
• Have very good communication and pedagogical skills
• Have the ability to combine strategic thinking with attention to detail and control

• Experience working in a global organization or international project operation
• Experience with financial systems such as Agresso
• Experience working in a technically advanced or project-intensive operation
