The Role

In this role, you are responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap to delivery, follow-up, and results. This means you will develop the Swedish equivalent of our successful product, backed by Allica's established platform, experience, and expertise.

The role involves leading a cross-functional product team with engineers, designers, and data analysts. This includes close collaboration with Compliance, Risk, and international leadership, with direct impact on how Allica establishes itself: not just in Sweden, but in all markets we enter in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, vision, roadmap, and delivery for Allica's entire Swedish payment and account offering.
• Take full commercial ownership of the product team's OKRs, including customer acquisition, balance sheet growth, and payment volumes.
• Define and implement integrations with Swedish payment systems, including Bankgiro, BankID, Swish, and open banking frameworks.
• Build the customer data strategy for your product area, including data flows, consent models, and customer insight frameworks.
• Work closely with Compliance and Risk to ensure the product meets relevant Swedish and EU regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Design, UX, and Research to understand customer needs, validate ideas, and ensure the product is developed based on user insights and data.
• Anchoring all decisions in data and building a culture of evidence-based product development within the team.
• Communicate and align the product roadmap with relevant stakeholders, from the team to international leadership.
• Identify and manage product, delivery, and regulatory risks in close collaboration with Compliance, Risk, and other stakeholders.

You Likely Have...

...extensive experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in payments or financial services, with a connection to the Swedish or Nordic market. A deep understanding of the Swedish payment infrastructure, such as Bankgiro, BankID, Swish, and open banking frameworks, is required, as is experience navigating regulatory requirements from Finansinspektionen and the EU.

To succeed in this role, you also need strong commercial drive, the ability to make data-driven decisions, and experience delivering in cross-functional teams. Experience building or launching new banking or fintech products in a new market is advantageous. You must be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
