The Role

As an Associate Product Owner, you will be part of our newly formed international tribe and work on credit and deposit products, the products central to how SMEs grow and manage their finances. You will be the first product person in the team, giving you a role with significant influence over how ways of working, processes, and products are developed in the Swedish market. This entails broad responsibility and close collaboration with developers, operations teams, compliance, and risk.

The role offers you the opportunity to use and develop your analytical skills, while your structure and interest in understanding and improving processes become key success factors. A central part of the role involves mapping and improving workflows: from credit applications and decision-making processes to account deposits and ongoing customer service, thereby ensuring everything meets Swedish and EU regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and delivery of Allica’s Swedish credit and deposit roadmap within the team
• Own and develop processes and workflows throughout the entire customer journey (credit applications, decisions, payouts, account deposits, and ongoing service)
• Work closely with developers and operations teams to translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Contribute to adapting Allica’s lending and deposit offerings for the Swedish market, including requirements from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and the EU
• Work closely with Compliance and Risk to ensure workflows and products meet regulatory requirements and consider risk from the start
• Analyze customer feedback, process data, and relevant key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities
• Contribute to OKR tracking and help the team measure and communicate their results

You likely have...

...2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Associate Product Owner within financial services, preferably with a focus on lending or deposit products. You have a good understanding of credit processes and workflows, are accustomed to working in agile environments, and have experience working in a core banking platform, preferably Vilja Solutions. You are driven by understanding, developing, and streamlining processes.

Experience in the Swedish or Nordic financial sector and knowledge of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority’s regulations are advantageous. You are structured, communicative, and have an aptitude for getting to grips with technical systems and data flows. You must be fluent in Swedish and English.
