Paulinska School is a grades 4–9 school centrally located in Strängnäs, with approximately 560 students and 70 staff members. One of the school's strengths is that the entire community is represented in the operations, creating a wonderful diversity.

We are now looking for a PE teacher for a temporary position for the academic year 2026/2027

Responsibilities

The position involves teaching in grades 4–9, with a primary focus on grades 4–6. You plan and conduct teaching that creates safety, participation, and motivation among students with different prerequisites.

A large part of the teaching takes place in multi-teacher collaboration, where you work together with colleagues to provide students with the best possible support and varied teaching. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other educators, develop teaching together, and contribute to a strong collegial community.

The position does not include mentorship duties, which gives you the opportunity to focus fully on teaching, student learning, and subject development. Teaching time is 1080 minutes per week, including recess supervision and pedagogical lunch.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are or have:

• A certified teacher in Physical Education and Health for grades 4–9, or a certified leisure center teacher in Physical Education and Health for grades 4–6.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

You are confident in your leadership and build good relationships with students. You enjoy collaborating and developing teaching together with colleagues, and see opportunities in working inclusively and variably. You want to inspire students to an active and healthy lifestyle.

Employment terms

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: 6 months or longer.
• Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
