We are now looking for a Leisure-time Teacher (Fritidslärare) for the after-school program at Malmaskolan.

HERE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to be part of our operation as a Leisure-time Teacher and who can adapt the activities based on the students' needs so that our students can develop as far as possible given their prerequisites. We are looking for you who are a certified Leisure-time Teacher, preferably in combination with another subject. You should have knowledge of governing documents and teach based on these. You are an important piece in the work of meeting the student's needs and providing the support needed for the student's learning and personal development. Together with other school staff, you will actively participate in the school's development work. You are expected to have clear leadership skills and the ability to adapt your leadership style to situations and needs.

Your placement will be in our after-school program at Malmaskolan. You will become a key person in an engaged work team where close cooperation and flexibility are the keys to success. You are expected to work collegially together with your colleagues in planning and implementing the activities. You will have close cooperation with each other, with other work teams, and with other schools through the after-school network.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO:

in addition to competencies in the field and a pedagogical degree,

• have good documented knowledge within pedagogical activities.
• have clear leadership in the operation.

YOUR PERSONAL QUALITIES

Malmaskolan F-9 together with Bettna School F-6 are the units that together make up the principal's area. Our basic philosophy is to build strong collaborations and create trusting relationships between students, school, and home. We strive for every day to be characterized by learning and security for both students and staff. Malmaskolan F-9 is located in Malmköping and consists of approximately 400 students, and Bettna School is a small rural school with approximately 65 students.

You contribute to shaping a learning environment and meaningful leisure time where every student is given the opportunity to reach their goals. We work largely with collegial learning as we see it as a strength to share experiences and competencies with each other and thereby further increase the quality of our teaching.
