RESPONSIBILITIES

At Stålforsskolan, we work with co-teaching and inclusive education where we together plan and adapt learning environments to meet the needs of all students. Our ambition is that every student should receive the right support and opportunity to succeed in their learning.

In the role, you will teach students individually, in small groups, and in two full classes. For some students, a smaller context during a period may be crucial for development and security. Through close collaboration with colleagues, we work together for increased goal achievement and desire to learn.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and thrives with varying assignments. When the student group is smaller, you can, for example, support teaching in the full class and contribute with special educational needs support to teachers and students. You will become an important part of the school's student health and development work where relationships, accessible learning environments, and an inclusive approach are at the center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in the students' daily lives and who sees the value in small steps forward. You are confident in your teaching role, flexible, and solution-focused, with the ability to adapt teaching to the students' needs. You thrive working closely with students in small groups where relationships, structure, and trust are important parts of learning.

You have a teaching license in Swedish as a Second Language and have started or completed education as a special needs teacher. It is meritorious if you have qualifications for grades 7–9. You have experience teaching based on the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School, Preschool Class and the After-School Programme (LGR22).

We would appreciate that you have experience working with newly arrived students and students in need of special support, as well as knowledge of inclusive learning environments. Experience in special educational work and knowledge of different functional variations are meritorious.
