Woodwork Teacher for Öregrunds School

We, who are looking for a new colleague, work at Öregrunds School, a grades F-6 school with approximately 171 students located in the urban area of Öregrund. We work for new pedagogical ideas combined with long-term development work, always with the student at the center. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop your ideas together with your colleagues, where we integrate students into both the after-school program and primary school activities. We have beautiful and modern facilities in nature-friendly surroundings.

Responsibilities

As a woodwork teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, teaching, evaluating, and assessing the subject of woodwork for grades 3-6. You are part of a work team where you work together to give students the right conditions for success by challenging and supporting each student.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license with eligibility in woodwork, or alternatively, if you have a strong interest in teaching. If you have previous experience as a teacher, this is seen as an advantage.

You have the ability to adapt teaching based on each student's prerequisites, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, calm working conditions, and a desire to learn. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the world of schools and how it is affected by the outside world. A success factor is that you can create trusting relationships both inside and outside of school. You also see the importance of effective and supportive relationships with your colleagues and work together with them to create teaching that gives students the right conditions for success.
