Department of Clinical Sciences

Veterinary epidemiology is a cross-species discipline encompassing teaching and research focused on preventing disease and other disorders at the population level. Through this work, the health, welfare, and well-being of both animals and humans are promoted in accordance with the principles of One Health and One Welfare.

About the Job

The position involves data collection, processing, and analysis of research material, as well as various forms of research administration. Depending on the needs of the operation, the duties may also include teaching, pedagogical development, and teaching administration.

Your Background

We are looking for you who have a degree in animal science or veterinary medicine and have shown an interest in milk production and epidemiology. Documented experience in data management and analysis of data material from milk recording is meritorious, as is familiarity with statistical processing of milk recording data in R or similar programs.

Emphasis is placed on the candidate's interest in research and teaching in veterinary epidemiology. Furthermore, problem-solving skills, motivation, and the ability to work both independently and in a team are considered. You must be able to express yourself well, both orally and in writing, in Swedish and English.
