Basic Education Support is a central unit within Enköping Municipality that offers support to the municipality's primary schools at the individual, group, and organizational levels. The unit consists of Lärandearena, the School Social Team, the School Team, the Basic School Team, and the Reception Unit. Together, we work to ensure that all students get the prerequisites to succeed in school and develop positively.

Lärandearena is a special teaching group for students in grades 4-9 who need a smaller context to succeed in school. We are an engaged team working to create motivation, participation, and a meaningful school day. With us, teaching, relationships, collaboration, and creativity are equally important parts of the assignment.

As a teacher with us, you primarily teach English for grades 7-9 and are also responsible for teaching in social studies and religion through a thematic approach together with colleagues. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching, and adapt the learning environment, approach, and methods based on the students' needs. The assignment includes working to increase motivation, attendance, and goal fulfillment in close collaboration with colleagues, guardians, and the student's home school. You also contribute to the continued development of the activity. Here, the teacher role is broad, and you work both pedagogically and relationally to create pathways back to a functional school day throughout the day.

We are looking for you who have a teaching license with eligibility in English for grades 7-9, preferably also in social studies. You have experience or interest in working with students in need of special support and NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders). As a person, you are secure, flexible, and relationship-building. You believe in the student's ability, are easy to collaborate with, and can adapt teaching to the student's needs and prerequisites.

• Qualified teacher in English 7-9 (required)
• Qualified teacher in Social Studies 7-9 (meritorious)
• You adapt easily to changed circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly change your perspective and attitude based on what the situation requires.
• You are calm, stable, and controlled in pressured or challenging situations. You maintain a reasonable perspective on situations and focus on the right things.
• You have a good understanding of how humans acquire knowledge and people's different prerequisites. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient.
• You are relationship-building, outgoing, and socially active in your work. You create contacts and maintain relationships.
• You collaborate well with other people and relate to them in a listening and smooth way. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts in a constructive manner.
• You are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. You distinguish between the personal and professional and act in a way adapted to the situation.
• You have empathetic ability and can put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation without taking over the person's feelings.
