Description of Duties

The assignment includes teaching social studies and religion and collaborating closely with colleagues who teach in upper secondary common and profile subjects. The role involves planning and following up on teaching both individually and together with colleagues. You will participate and contribute to work group and subject group activities, using your competence and experience to develop teaching and education through systematic quality work.

The assignment includes acting as a mentor and supporting students in their knowledge development and well-being in collaboration with guardians. This position is a one-year temporary substitute role.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher certification and are qualified to teach social studies and religion at the upper secondary level. As a person, you are outgoing and social in your work. You easily establish contact with students, guardians, and colleagues. You collaborate well with others and relate to your surroundings in a listening and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way.

You have a good understanding that students have different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge. In your teaching, you adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient. In your role as a teacher, you have clear leadership and motivate students in a positive way. You create engagement and involvement and have high expectations for students. You are skilled at making adjustments based on students' needs and creating a sense of security in the classroom.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.

In your application, you must state your citizenship.
