Description
This is a project position lasting 29 months, funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). The role is that of a project worker, where you will work as a Special Needs Teacher (Specialpedagog) in the project SAMSA – Collaboration for Studies and Work.
The project aims to develop and offer interventions for individuals who are far from studies and the labor market, to promote increased attendance and reduce dropout rates within KAA (Adult Education for Integration), Introductory Programs, and various forms of adult education. The goal is to strengthen individuals' opportunities to start or complete upper secondary studies within municipal adult education, folk high schools, or other educational forms. It also involves outreach and motivational work to strengthen individuals' opportunities for establishment in the labor market.
Responsibilities
The local project worker, together with the sub-project leader, is responsible for the operational work towards participants in the municipalities. You will provide input for reporting on budget and operations to the regional level. You will participate in the regional project group's work, all dissemination activities, educational and evaluation efforts, and all other project-related tasks. You possess knowledge of integrating the horizontal principles of gender equality, accessibility, and non-discrimination to implement these in the operations. The position involves outreach and motivational work with the target group to stimulate engagement in studies.
Using your competence as a Special Needs Teacher, you will support and supervise participants in their studies so they can complete their education and achieve approved results. Together with participants, you will map out the need for support.
Qualifications
You have a degree as a Special Needs Teacher (Specialpedagog) and good experience within educational activities. As a project worker and teacher, you drive work forward, collaborate easily with others, and have strong pedagogical knowledge. You are accustomed to taking initiative, have a welcoming attitude, and easily build trust and relationships with others.

Questions regarding the position will be answered from August 11th due to summer holidays.
Valid ID and Right to Work in Sweden
To work at Älvkarleby Municipality, you must be able to present a valid ID showing your citizenship. In some cases, you may also need to show a document proving your right to work in Sweden. If offered employment, you must be able to show one of the following:

- Other valid ID clearly stating citizenship
