ABOUT THE POSITION
We at Inre Kraft are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant on a fixed part-time position with our client, who lives within walking distance of central Luleå. You will work weekdays and every other weekend.
The working hours are as follows:
08:00-17:00
Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a man in his 80s who lives together with his wife. He has an active lifestyle and enjoys eating out at restaurants, going out for coffee, and watching sports on TV. Long walks are also something he enjoys, and he likes to strengthen his body through exercise, where he receives encouragement and support from both you as an assistant and our physiotherapist. After suffering a stroke, he is partially paralyzed on one side of his body and has aphasia.
The duties include:
Occasional household chores
Support with manual transfers
Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing
Exercise
The client uses a shower chair, electric wheelchair, manual wheelchair, and catheter.

In working with our client, you will spend a lot of time outdoors on walks and be involved in exercise. Therefore, we would like you to enjoy walking and be able to be encouraging and supportive during training sessions.
As a personal assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our client in his daily life, and your engagement will contribute to him being able to continue living as independent and active a life as possible.
We are looking for you who are empathetic, flexible, and have a genuine desire to provide the highest possible support to improve the client's quality of life.

REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience working as a personal assistant or in a similar profession
Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
MERITS
Experience with stroke or aphasia
Employment level: 1 permanent part-time position
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
