ABOUT THE POSITION

Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft, and we are now looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a cheerful and social young woman in central Boden. We are currently seeking you who want to work in a permanent position with a full-time equivalent of 67.81%.

Working hours are scheduled as 24-hour shifts with an 8.5-hour standby period. You will work both weekdays and weekends according to the following schedule:

• 09:00–09:00 (24-hour shift)

Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer if you could begin your introduction in the autumn.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a young woman with a big heart and a great sense of humor. She enjoys going to hockey games, baking, crafting, and horseback riding. Our client needs your help as an assistant in her daily life as she has an intellectual disability (ID) and autism.

Responsibilities include:

• Support with daily routines, such as cooking and cleaning

• Support during meals

• Participation in activities

• Personal care

We are now looking for you who are calm, stable, and responsible. You have the ability to create security and structure. Furthermore, we want you to be receptive and have a warm approach.

Since the client interacts with animals in her daily life, it is important that you are not allergic! The client has her own car, which you, as the assistant, will drive during activities and errands.

Previous experience working as a personal assistant, within care, or pedagogy is meritorious, but the most important thing is that you have the right personal qualities and that the match between you and the client feels right. The client would prefer that you are a woman.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

• You are comfortable around horses, dogs, and cats

• Valid B-driver's license (manual transmission)

MERITORIOUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant, within care, or pedagogy is meritorious – but not a requirement

Employment level: 1 permanent position at 67.81%.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
