At our organization, we work with heart and dedication to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone in our municipality. We are now looking for passionate and caring employees who want to help shape the future of care in Haparanda. Your responsibilities
As a Social Secretary within the Child and Family Group, you will have an exciting and meaningful role where you can make a difference for children and young people. You will work with preliminary assessments, investigations, support, and follow-up of interventions for children, adolescents, and parents. We work according to BBIC (Children's Needs at the Center), which is a unified documentation system for social child welfare. The goal of our work is to help parents manage their relationships and parental roles better. Ultimately, the goal is for the children and young people in the families to be well. We strive to provide families with support at an early stage and, as far as possible, in their own homes. To achieve this goal, we collaborate with other resources, such as authorities and organizations. The team consists of 6 social secretaries led by a unit manager.
With us, you will be well introduced to your duties through the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare's professional induction. You will also have the opportunity for competence development and supervision. We offer flexible working hours with the possibility of some remote work, one wellness hour per week, or alternatively, a wellness allowance. The position is full-time and permanent. Probationary employment may apply. The position includes on-call duties.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work and are passionate about working with children and young people, and who want to make a positive difference in their lives. As a person, you are structured, relationship-building, and solution-oriented. You have good collaboration skills and a professional approach. You have good ability to express yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Meritorious experience includes social investigative and treatment work with children and young people, as well as experience working with the documentation system Pulsen Combine.
A Category B driver's license is required.
We process applications on a rolling basis, which means you may be called for an interview and/or recruited with short notice, so please submit your application today.
