We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant to a little girl of about 10 months. The child lives with her parents in a calm and welcoming home. The family is open, cooperative, and values a good working atmosphere for those who work there. The workplace is located in Sjulsmark, approximately a 25-minute drive from Piteå.

About the assignment

The assignment is medically complex, and the girl requires 24-hour supervision. Due to the girl's tracheostomy, you will always work with another assistant — you are never alone with the responsibility. The work takes place in the girl's home and follows the family's schedule.

Your main tasks are to monitor the girl's breathing, manage the tracheostomy tube, perform suctioning, administer inhalations, and provide nutrition via a feeding tube. These are specialized tasks that require focus, precision, and sustained attention throughout the entire shift.

You will receive full training in all medical procedures and ongoing education during the assignment. Previous medical experience is not a requirement — we train the right person.

You are calm, observant, and confident in your professional role. You are accustomed to working in someone else's home and understand the importance of respecting the family's routines, privacy, and role in the child's life. You take initiative in your professional role and collaborate closely with both your colleague and the family.

Requirements

• The family prefers a female assistant

• You do not smoke (traces of smoke on clothes and hair can affect the child's breathing)

• You have good Swedish language skills in speech and writing

Since the workplace is located approximately a 30-minute drive from central Luleå, in an area with limited bus connections, applicants must have a driver's license and access to a car to commute to and from work comfortably.

About the employment

Working hours vary between day, evening, and night according to a schedule. Start date by agreement.
