Arjeplog Municipality is looking for a Support Assistant for LSS Regnbågen, a residential facility for children aged 0–18 with disabilities covered by the Support and Service Act for Certain Disability Groups (LSS).

Job Description

The work at Regnbågen involves a pedagogical and salutogenic approach with the child in focus. Structure and activities are adapted to the child's needs and prerequisites.

The support for the child covers all daily situations, from personal hygiene, meals, and cleaning to daily activities, social and authority contacts, and leisure activities. It also includes drawing up implementation plans. It is of great importance to safeguard the individual's participation and influence.

Some healthcare interventions may occur.

To you, all people have equal value and should be treated with respect. You should be positive, creative, and have a pedagogical approach. You have the ability to see needs and resources in the children.

You need to be calm, enduring, and clear in your body language. A good and respectful attitude with a salutogenic approach is central, meaning you work based on the individual's abilities and resources.

You speak and write Swedish fluently.

Other Information

The schedule includes shifts with overnight on-call duty.

Qualifications

Education:

We are looking for someone with experience in similar tasks.

Upper secondary education in nursing or a certified assistant nurse is meritorious. For the position of Support Assistant, this education is a requirement.

Salary and Relocation Bonus

Arjeplog Municipality has decided on a salary bonus for those employed in a current shortage occupation on a permanent contract in Arjeplog Municipality, with an employment date after 2018-07-01. The position of Support Assistant/Support Staff at Regnbågen is a current shortage occupation. To receive this bonus, you must be registered as a resident in Arjeplog Municipality during these three years.

The salary bonus is paid when the employment exceeds:

• 12 months with 15,000 SEK
• 24 months with 22,500 SEK
• 36 months with 30,000 SEK

There is also an opportunity to apply for a relocation bonus. Those with adequate education, who get a job in a shortage occupation, and move to Arjeplog can receive a bonus of up to 30,000 SEK, subject to verified receipts. The bonus is proportional to the employment level.
