The team consists of 14 case workers, one administrator, one senior social secretary, and a unit manager. We are a tightly knit group that supports each other, offering a pleasant workplace with close managerial support.

Job Responsibilities

In a smaller municipality, you gain a unique holistic perspective and a broad mandate. Here, you will not be just another anonymous case worker. You will handle your own cases and meet with clients, while also having a clear mandate to develop our working methods. We aim to modernize our processes, reduce processing times, and strengthen cooperation with the labor market unit and external actors. This is a place where you have the opportunity to think outside the box and test new methods to help people achieve self-sufficiency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive development work to improve processes, digital workflows, and methods within financial assistance.
  • Receive, investigate, and assess entitlement to financial assistance according to current legislation (Social Services Act).
  • Targeted change work together with the client, focusing on employment, education, and self-sufficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the labor market unit, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Public Employment Service, as well as psychiatry and healthcare.
  • Document and make decisions in the municipality's operational system, Pulsen Combine.

The area of operation also includes handling of Social Contracts and violence in close relationships.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work, completed the Social Care Program, or another academic education that the employer deems adequate. We expect you to have strong investigative and documentation skills, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

As a person, you are stable, independent, and structured. You are professional in your role, have a good attitude towards others, and possess strong collaborative skills. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Merits include knowledge and experience in social work with financial assistance cases and knowledge of the Social Services Act. Experience with the operational system Pulsen Combine is also valued.

Other Information

We offer you a permanent full-time position. Start date as soon as possible, according to agreement.

Working hours are during the day, Monday – Friday. There is an option for some remote work.

Application deadline: 2026-07-31.

The selection process and interviews will take place continuously during the application period.

The salary is individual, please state your salary expectations.
