About Asp Center

Asp Center is located in the community of Sävast, approximately eight kilometers from Boden and three miles from Luleå. We have eight units with a total of 15 places.

In Sävast, there is a shop, pizzeria, and postal service, and we are close to nature, walking paths, a golf course, ski facilities, and fishing. Buses run to Boden and Luleå city center year-round. From Boden and Luleå city centers, there are several bus and train departures every day, both southbound and northbound. There are also daily flights from Luleå Airport.

We receive young people and adults from the age of 14 with various NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses.

About the role

As a residential support worker, you base your support on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing assistance in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their skills and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evening, weekends, and on-call sleeping shifts.

Your experience and knowledge

You have upper secondary education in healthcare and social care or equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, a driver's license, and experience with documentation. Experience working with our target group is an advantage. However, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always have the best interests of our users as your starting point in everything you do.
