ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Inre Kraft are currently seeking personal assistants for a meaningful and rewarding assignment with one of our child clients in Sävast. We are currently offering 2 permanent positions as well as summer temporary positions!

The work involves accompanying her to school on weekdays. In the evenings and on weekends, you will work with the girl in her home environment. You will work closely with her in all activities and contribute to creating safety, development, and quality of life in her daily life.

This is a role with extensive care and supervision responsibilities, where you as an assistant need to be present, attentive, and confident in your role.

Position 1: Permanent position 92%, work scheduled on weekdays from 07:00-16:00 and one weekend per month from 09:00-21:00.

Position 2: Permanent position 71-75%, work scheduled on weekdays from 07:00-16:00, 16:00-21:00, and every other weekend from 09:00-21:00.

Summer Temporary Position: During the period June-August with the possibility of working weekdays from 07:00-16:00, 16:00-21:00, and weekends from 09:00-21:00.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

You will be working with a lovely 8-year-old girl who enjoys singing, books, and play. She appreciates presence, safety, and the opportunity to share small and large moments together with her assistant.

At birth, she suffered from oxygen deprivation, which has led to extensive brain damage, multiple functional impairments, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. She has extensive care needs and requires constant supervision as well as support in all parts of her daily life.

This means that you as an assistant are responsible for both basic care and medical tasks. She needs help with:

• Personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

• Mobility and medication

• Communication and social interaction

• Daily routines at home and school

She uses assistive devices such as a hoist, suction device, and feeding tube, and you will receive introduction and support to feel confident in all tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

• Previous experience working as a personal assistant/other care experience

Employment level: 2 permanent positions + summer temporary staff

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
