Your daily life as an Archive Clerk in a public authority with societal responsibility

The Fortification Agency is a public authority with vital societal operations, currently experiencing strong growth. The Information Management Unit consists of three groups and 33 employees. In the Drawing Management Group, we currently have 16 employees, and we focus on deliveries to operations and driving forward our construction projects. The other two groups are responsible for the authority's diary (Registration Group) and for the action, property, and drawing archives (Archive Group).

As an Archive Clerk, you often receive visitors and are responsible for:

• registration, copying, scanning, and printing of drawings and technical documentation. This is carried out in all stages of the construction process and delivered both internally and externally.
• collaboration with, among others, project managers, managers, and development engineers regarding documentation, and ensuring high quality in deliveries.
• You will also handle security-classified documents.

This position is located in Eskilstuna, and travel throughout Sweden occurs regularly.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education at least at the upper secondary level and have gained several years of working life experience in qualified administrative work. We want you to have very good administrative skills and experience working in several IT systems, as well as very good knowledge of Swedish and be a Swedish citizen.

The position requires a B driving license, as well as good driving experience and a positive attitude towards driving.

It is meritorious with:

• signals protection training
• experience working with security-classified documents
• handling and understanding of drawings and technical information, both analog and digital
• skill in information retrieval from digital and physical archives

The work requires independent planning and initiative, which is why it is positive if you have these qualities. The role also involves many contact points both within and outside the organization, where teamwork and communication are of great importance. A large part of the work is physical in the drawing archive, and we are looking for you who are a doer while also liking structure, order, and tidiness. You are ambitious and complete your assignments. We also value that you can maintain calm even under pressure. Furthermore, we would like you to be analytical and curious and contribute to our development work with great engagement in both the details and the whole.
