Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller for a consultancy assignment focused on providing controlling support to the business operations.

You will support one or several of the organization's departments, acting as a controlling support for department managers and unit managers.

The assignment includes, among other things, support in developing annual forecasts, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial follow-up, as well as other support within financial management based on the organization's needs. The assignment is carried out in close collaboration with the business operations and requires independent work, strong analytical skills, and experience in financial management within the public sector.

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Economics or other education considered equivalent.
• At least three years of documented experience as an economic or financial controller.
• Documented experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial follow-up.
• Experience in financial management within public sector operations.
• Documented experience in providing controlling support to department managers, unit managers, or equivalent decision-makers.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a government agency.
• Experience in business management/operational control.
• Experience interpreting and applying regulatory letters or other government steering documents.
• Experience with authorization reporting.
• Experience with state aid reporting.
• Experience in business valuation.
