About Samhall

Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Each year, approximately 2,000 people are referred to us by the Swedish Public Employment Service, and what we do is offer them a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to train their skills and develop their competence. Our most important goal is that 1,500 people leave us every year for work outside of Samhall.

No matter where you work in our organization, our mission and goals are ever-present. The conviction that all people have competence is a compass and a driving force for all of us. We believe that you, reading this, feel as strongly about it as we do.

We are 24,000 employees, of which approximately 1,500 are managers and specialists, with operations throughout the country. Together, we work for a more inclusive labor market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.

Welcome to Samhall!

About the position

Your contribution to Samhall is that you create the conditions for our employees to trust their competence and take the step onto the regular labor market.

As an HR Generalist in Nyköping-Katrineholm, you will be part of the district's HR team together with the HR Business Partner and five other HR Generalists (Norrköping, Linköping, Eskilstuna, and Visby). You report to the HR Business Partner, who is also part of the district's management group.

Your role

As an HR Generalist with us, you will have a central role in contributing to and developing HR work in the district. You work closely with the operational managers and the HR team to ensure a unified culture, efficient working methods, and compliance with policies and guidelines. The work also includes negotiations with trade union parties in various personnel matters, as well as driving payroll processes within the LO collective agreement.

You are an operational HR support where you coach and guide managers in matters concerning HR processes, leadership, work environment, and individual adjustments related to employees within Samhall's labor market political mandate. An important part of the assignment is to support managers in working with sick leave, rehabilitation, and preventive measures to create sustainable working conditions.

You also contribute to the district's proactive training planning that develops employees' professional knowledge and ensures the right competence in current and future customer assignments. In the role, you ensure good and professional collaboration with external partners such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, trade union organizations, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and occupational health services. Together with colleagues within HR and other parts of the organization, you contribute to developing and maintaining a unified, efficient, and high-quality HR work throughout the operations.

Who are you and what drives you to do?

We welcome you who have a university/college education in HR, or alternatively other education and/or experience that we consider relevant. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are a requirement. You have worked broadly with HR and have solid knowledge of labor law and experience in trade union negotiations. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the Swedish Public Employment Service and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

To thrive with us, it is important that you are unpretentious, have a positive mindset, and have the ability to quickly shift focus. You have a knack for meeting people and are service-oriented, while also having that fingertip sensitivity to challenge the managers you support in a coaching manner. We believe you are a good relationship builder who becomes a natural conversation and collaboration partner for our managers and others within the organization. You enjoy driving your work independently and feel secure in doing so, but value collaboration and a good work climate just as much as we do.

In the role, you will operate within the entire district but primarily in Nyköping and Katrineholm. Therefore, the position will involve some travel, which means a Class B driver's license is required for the position.

As our new colleague, it is important that you believe in people's abilities and share our core values: Belief in the equal value of all people – Confidence in the abilities of all individuals – The value of work for the development of the individual and society.
