We are looking for two experienced financial controllers for a consulting assignment with a government agency. The role involves providing qualified controller support to one or more operational departments, as well as acting as financial support to department and unit managers.

The work includes, among other things, budgeting, preparing annual forecasts, financial monitoring, analysis, and other support within financial management. The role involves close collaboration with the operations and requires an independent working style, strong analytical skills, and experience in financial management within the public sector.

Requirements

• University degree in economics or equivalent education.
• At least three years of experience as an economic or financial controller.
• Documented experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial monitoring.
• Experience in financial management within public sector operations.
• Experience in providing controller support to managers or other decision-makers.
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from a government agency.
• Experience in operational management.
• Experience with regulatory letters or other government steering documents.
• Experience with authorization reporting.
• Experience with state aid reporting.
• Experience in business valuation.

Location

Eskilstuna. Physical presence at the office is required two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with the possibility of remote work on other days by agreement.
