Do you want to be part of developing the future outpatient care for children, young people, and families?

Dialogen is in an exciting phase of development where the new Social Services Act and an expanded mandate to provide more outpatient care in-house create new opportunities to develop support for children, young people, and families. We are now looking for a Team Leader who wants to lead this work together with us.

With us, you will have an important and operationally close team leader role where you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and create good conditions for both employees and the business.

About the workplace

Dialogen is one of five units within Child and Family and is organized under the Child and Education Administration in Falun Municipality.

At Dialogen, family therapists, team leaders, and the unit manager work together today to offer support measures to children, adolescents, and families. The operations offer both advice and support without individual needs assessment as well as family therapy measures after a benefit decision. The mandate also includes collaboration with family centers and counseling clinics for children and young people, as well as the implementation of group activities for parents, children, and young people.

In our work, we always have the best interests of the child in focus. We work from a systemic perspective where we look at the whole family situation and together with the families create conditions for positive and sustainable change.

A good working environment is important to us. We value cooperation, participation, and collegial support and strive to create a workplace where we develop together and have fun at work. With us, you will meet engaged colleagues, close collaboration, and a common focus on making a difference for the children, young people, and families we meet.

Tasks

As a Team Leader, you, together with a colleague, are responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the work for a group of family therapists that is growing in line with the development of the operations. The group currently consists of approximately 17–20 employees.

You are responsible for daily line management and work close to the operations by leading and distributing work, conducting case reviews and group meetings, as well as receiving, prioritizing, and distributing incoming assignments. The assignments consist of both benefit-assessed measures and advice and support measures.

You are part of Dialogen's management group together with the unit manager and team leader colleague and actively contribute to the planning, development, and follow-up of the operations. The role also includes following up on operational results and statistics, contributing to internal competence development, and developing and structuring the operations' group measures for children, adolescents, and parents.

The work involves extensive collaboration with the social services' authority exercise within child and family as well as with schools, child and student health services, and other important collaboration partners.

As a Team Leader, you will have a central role in the ongoing development work where Dialogen strengthens and develops outpatient care measures to meet future needs.

Qualifications

Required for the role:

  • Social Work Degree (Social Worker)
  • Experience working within the social services' child and family operations
  • Experience in outpatient care work, family therapy, or another role that has provided good knowledge of the outpatient care mandate, working methods, and collaboration with authority exercise
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

Personal qualities

To succeed in the role, you need to be a secure and stable person who creates trust through your way of collaborating and communicating. You are clear in your line management role and have a good ability to plan, structure, and prioritize work, as well as drive processes forward even when the pace is high. You have a solution-focused approach, make well-founded assessments, and handle challenges in a constructive way.

You have an easy time building and maintaining good relationships and collaborate in a professional manner with both colleagues and external partners. You are receptive, unpretentious, and contribute to a good work climate through respectful treatment. Through your way of communicating and creating collaboration, you create engagement, participation, and that people work towards common goals.

We are looking for you who see opportunities in change, have the ability to adapt to new conditions, and want to be part of developing the operations together with employees and management.
