About Dalaidyllen
Dalaidyllen currently operates residential care (HVB) and consultant-supported foster care. Since our inception, we have developed our operations with the goal of offering children and young people safe, professional, and cohesive care where relationships, structure, and quality are at the center.
We are now opening Dalaidyllen Vik HVB in Vikmanshyttan – a new residential home for children and young people aged 9 to 14.
We are therefore looking for a treatment pedagogue for night duty (awake nights) who wants to be involved from the beginning and help shape the operations.
At our facility, treatment pedagogues, treatment coordinators, psychologists, nurses, and doctors work together. We believe in close collaboration between professions, short decision-making paths, and leadership that is present in everyday life.
We believe that high quality is created through knowledge, collaboration, and genuine commitment to each child.
About the Role
As night staff on awake duty, you are responsible for creating safety, stability, and continuity during the night hours. The night is an important part of the children's daily routine, and your task involves much more than supervision. You contribute to ensuring the children have a calm and predictable environment and are available when a child needs support, safety, or someone to talk to.
You work independently during your shift but are part of the facility's treatment work and play a key role in ensuring continuity between night and day staff. Through documentation and handover reports, you ensure that important information follows the child throughout the day and becomes part of the ongoing treatment.
We are looking for someone who is confident in themselves, has a professional approach, and enjoys taking responsibility.
Among other things, you will:
- be responsible for safety, security, and structure during night shifts
- perform supervision according to facility routines and individual risk assessments
- provide support to children who wake up, feel anxious, or need help during the night
- document and report significant events
- ensure that relevant information is passed on to day staff
- contribute to ensuring that facility routines and working methods are followed
- participate in workplace meetings, supervision, and development work.
We believe you will thrive with us if…
…you appreciate working independently while seeing yourself as a natural part of a larger team.
You are confident, responsible, and have the ability to remain calm even when situations change. You understand the importance of structure, careful documentation, and a professional approach, while also having an easy way of creating safety in interactions with children.
You are also curious and eager to continue developing. With us, it is natural to discuss working methods, share experiences, and develop the facility together.
We do not believe that anyone is fully trained. Therefore, we are looking for employees who want to continue developing together with us.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- education as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, assistant nurse, or other equivalent education and experience working with children and young people
- experience in treatment work, residential care (HVB), or similar operations is meritorious
- good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
- B driver's license.
Meritorious
- Trauma-informed care (TMO)
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Low-arousal approach
- Experience with HVB
- Experience with documentation according to BBIC.
What We Offer
With us, you have the opportunity to work in a facility undergoing exciting development. You will become part of an organization with close leadership, short decision-making paths, and a cross-professional team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.
We offer:
- the opportunity to help build a new facility from the start
- individual salary setting
- collective agreement according to Almega Healthcare Companies, Sector E
- supervision and competence development
- opportunity to influence and develop the operations
- start as soon as possible or according to agreement.
Employment Conditions
- Permanent part-time employment according to agreement.
- Awake night duty according to a schedule of approx. 60-85%.
- Probation period may apply.
- B driver's license is a requirement.
- A certificate of good conduct (police record) must be presented before employment.
Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
We believe that truly good treatment starts with truly good people. If you recognize yourself, we hope you want to be part of shaping the next chapter in Dalaidyllen's journey.
We look forward to receiving your application!
