Skogstäppan's daily LSS activity is directed at users with decisions under the LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The activity is adapted to the user's individual prerequisites and needs, with the goal of creating a secure and developmental daily life.

The work involves providing support in both individual activities and social contexts. Cognitive aids such as sign support and pictograms/images are used in the activity to facilitate communication and create a clear structure in daily life.

The starting point for the work is the user's implementation plan, where measures are planned and adapted to promote stimulation, community, participation, and the opportunity to develop at their own pace. The work is characterized by clear routines combined with flexibility based on the user's daily condition and needs.

The goal is for the user to feel secure, become involved in their daily life, and receive support to develop and maintain their abilities and independence.

Job Responsibilities

As a support assistant, you are responsible for providing individually adapted support in the user's daily life. The work is varied and involves planning and implementing measures based on the user's needs and implementation plan. Creative ideas and perspectives are needed in the work to achieve progress with the user.

You support in everyday activities, social contexts, and activities that contribute to a meaningful and active day.

The role includes:

• Creating and following the implementation plan
• Documenting measures according to current routines
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other relevant contacts
• Contributing to a structured, secure, and developmental environment for the user

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• Child and Youth Program, Care and Nursing Program, Therapeutic Pedagogy Education, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Documented experience working with the target group within LSS
• Computer skills and experience with documentation
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
• Good oral and written skills in Swedish
