About Dalaidyllen

Dalaidyllen currently operates residential care (HVB) and consultant-supported foster care. Since our inception, we have developed our operations with the goal of offering children and young people safe, professional, and cohesive care where relationships, structure, and quality are at the center.

We are now opening Dalaidyllen Vik HVB in Vikmanshyttan – a new residential home for children and young people between the ages of 9 and 14.

We are therefore looking for a Treatment Coordinator who wants to be involved from the start and help shape the operations.

At our facility, treatment pedagogues, treatment coordinators, psychologists, nurses, and doctors work together. We believe in close collaboration between professions, short decision-making paths, and leadership that is present in everyday life.

We believe that high quality is created through knowledge, collaboration, and genuine commitment to each child.

About the Role

As a Treatment Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating and developing the daily treatment work. You hold the treatment process together for each child and ensure that the work is conducted in a structured manner, follows the facility's methods, and is based on the child's individual needs.

You work closely with the manager, facility leadership, psychologists, and treatment pedagogues. The role combines strategic responsibility with close work within the facility. One day you lead a treatment conference or follow up on an implementation plan; the next day you are out in the facility supporting a treatment pedagogue in a concrete situation.

You are responsible for creating continuity in treatment, supporting the treatment pedagogues in methodology and approach, and, together with the manager and leadership, ensuring that the facility operates in accordance with legislation, regulations, guidelines, and the facility's working methods.

You also collaborate closely with social services, guardians, schools, and other important partners.

Among other things, you will:

  • Coordinate and ensure the quality of treatment work
  • Draw up, follow up on, and revise implementation plans
  • Mentor and support treatment pedagogues in methodology, approach, and practical treatment work
  • Conduct treatment and motivation interviews
  • Plan and lead treatment conferences
  • Hold follow-up meetings with social services
  • Plan social activities and provide feedback to guardians and networks
  • Prepare monthly and final reports together with the psychologist and manager
  • Contribute to the facility's quality and development work.

We believe you will thrive with us if…

…you enjoy working together with others and see the value of different professions complementing each other.

You are confident in your professional role, have a professional attitude, and understand that relationships are built over time. You like taking responsibility, are good at building trust, and thrive in a role where you can combine structure with human interaction.

You are also curious and want to continue developing. With us, it is natural to discuss working methods, share experiences, and develop the facility together.

We do not believe that anyone is fully trained. Therefore, we are looking for employees who want to continue developing together with us.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree of at least 180 higher education credits, for example as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education
  • Experience in treatment work with children and young people
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
  • Category B driver's license.

Merits

  • CBT Step 1
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Trauma-Informed Care (TIC)
  • Low-Arousal Approach
  • Experience with residential care (HVB)
  • Experience with BBIC
  • Experience with quality and development work.

What can you expect from us?

With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a facility undergoing exciting development. You will become part of an organization with close leadership, short decision-making paths, and a cross-professional team where collaboration and knowledge exchange are a natural part of everyday life.

We offer:

  • A central role with significant influence over the development of the facility
  • Flexible working hours (trust-based hours)
  • Individual salary setting
  • Collective agreement according to Almega Care Companies, Sector E
  • Mentoring and competence development
  • Opportunity to influence and develop the facility
  • Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

Employment Conditions

  • Full-time.
  • Flexible working hours (trust-based hours).
  • Probationary period may apply.
  • A certificate of good conduct (police record) must be presented before employment.

Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

We believe that really good treatment starts with really good people. If you recognize yourself, we hope you want to be part of shaping the next chapter in Dalaidyllen's journey.
