Are you ready for a new challenge where you, as a Medical Care Administrator, can make a difference?
We are looking for you who are trained as a Medical Care Administrator and want to be part of the Business Area for Child and Adolescent Medicine, located at the Child and Adolescent Clinic, Karlskoga Hospital. Here you will have a varied and developing job where the administrative unit plays a central role in the operations. You will work together with two other Medical Care Administrators and one Administrator. The position involves close collaboration with several professional categories, which is why it is of great importance that you have good cooperation skills and a high level of service.
Job Responsibilities- Medical documentation and diagnostic classification.
- Handling of referrals and possibly booking of patients.
- Coordination of care efforts as well as communication and information.
- Invoicing and economic management.
- Mail and document handling.
- Reception work as needed.
The tasks are adapted to the needs of the operations.

You must have a completed education as a Medical Care Administrator, Medical Secretary, or Physician's Secretary. You must have very good knowledge of the Swedish language and be able to express yourself clearly and correctly both orally and in writing. Computer proficiency is a requirement.

About the OperationsAt the Business Area for Child and Adolescent Medicine, we work according to the fundamental principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. We strive for equal health care of the highest quality for the county's children and adolescents as well as their families, where children receive care at the right level and at the right time.
Our administrative unit is a central function that ensures that all processes run smoothly and that our patients receive the care and support they need. At the Child and Adolescent Clinic, Karlskoga Hospital, there are a total of 2 MCAs and 1 Administrator working. The administrative unit of the Business Area for Child and Adolescent Medicine comprises a total of 19 Medical Care Administrators and 4 Administrators spread across our four clinics in the county:
- Child and Adolescent Clinic, University Hospital Örebro
- Child and Adolescent Clinic, Stora Holmen
- Child and Adolescent Clinic, Karlskoga Hospital
- Child and Adolescent Clinic, Lindesberg Hospital
