About the Role
As a Documentation Coordinator at Kongsberg Maritime, you will be the hub of the documentation process within our projects. You are responsible for ensuring that document deliveries to customers are correct, complete, and on time – and that all material meets contractual, internal, and external requirements.
In this role, you will coordinate the documentation process for selected projects, collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and other support functions. You will monitor and follow up on document deliveries to customers and actively participate in the creation of documentation to ensure deliveries are complete, accurate, and timely. As a Documentation Coordinator, you play a part in ensuring that the documentation in your projects follows correct security classifications and is handled according to the specified classification.
Depending on needs, the role may involve creating instructions for user manuals for Kongsberg Maritime's various products. The manuals are structured according to internal standards and ASD S1000D 2.3. Work is performed using XML-based tools (Ultra, CSDB). We offer a thorough introduction and ensure you receive the right support to grow into the role.
Since we work with customers in the marine defense sector, citizenship questions will be part of the recruitment process. For this position, you must undergo and pass a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act before employment can be offered.
The position is located in Kristinehamn.
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technical documentation who wants to develop in a role where order, quality, and communication are central. You can express yourself clearly in both speech and writing and have a good ability to collaborate with different functions within the organization.
We would like you to have:
- Experience or education in technical communication, documentation work, or equivalent
- Interest in technology and marine products
- Good ability to structure information in an understandable way
- Experience working in IT/system environments
Meritorious:
- Experience with XML-based tools and the S1000D standard
- Experience with Documentation Management Systems, such as ProArc
