Description

We are now looking for work consultants at the Unit for Work Rehabilitation and Employment (EAS) for two of our interventions: Översten and Support in Work.

EAS, a unit within the Employment and Social Administration, is tasked with creating conditions and employment opportunities so that individuals over 18 with mental health issues can achieve self-sufficiency through work, studies, or other means.

The unit maps abilities, functions, and activity limitations and consists of several different interventions: FRI, Översten, Support in Work, and Killstad gård. The unit is also tasked with stimulating and actively supporting social entrepreneurship.

A common thread in the work at EAS is that all employees use a problem-solving approach and method based on BIP (Person-Centered Planning). We offer continuous training for new employees and further education for existing staff. We also provide continuous supervision within each work group.

Responsibilities

At Översten, the work consists of supportive and motivational conversations, health and wellness activities, and other activities based on the participants' needs and wishes. The work takes place primarily on-site at the Översten residence, where we run gardening activities both in greenhouses and outdoors, maintain the property exterior with garden work, and work in a small carpentry workshop where we repair and fix items needed for the operation.

Support in Work is based on the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) method, which is a work rehabilitation method for individuals with mental health issues. The focus is on finding, obtaining, and maintaining employment on the open labor market.

The work involves mapping the individual's preferences and skills to match them with a suitable workplace. You are part of the entire process from the first meeting, matching, and follow-up at the workplace. Another part of the job is to offer continuous support at the workplaces to both the individual and the employer as long as the need exists, with the aim of retaining the job. The work also involves collaboration with authorities and healthcare contacts based on the individual's support needs, in addition to employer relations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a three-year academic education in a field relevant to the work, combined with knowledge and experience of working with the target group of people with mental health issues. Experience in coaching, motivational work, and meeting people who face significant challenges in daily life is important.

For the Support in Work role, experience with Supported Employment (SE) or IPS and good knowledge of labor market issues and work rehabilitation are meritorious. You need to be comfortable interacting with partners. This is particularly important in meetings with employers but also in collaboration with authorities and other actors.

For both Översten and Support in Work, knowledge of the work performed by the Social Services, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Region, and the Swedish Public Employment Service regarding this target group is meritorious.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are empathetic and have the ability to see and meet people where they are, while also being driven and courageous enough to respectfully challenge and question when necessary.

You have excellent teamwork skills and are good at creating and maintaining relationships. You enjoy and are capable of working independently while contributing to the team's collective work. Flexibility and a strong sense of service are important factors in the job, as is good communication skills in relations with participants and partners, both externally and internally.

For the Support in Work role, it is particularly important that you enjoy the challenge of creating contact and relationships with employers to match workplaces and participants.

Both roles involve documentation and other administrative tasks, so you need experience with administrative work in various IT systems and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience with documenting in Viva is meritorious.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.
