Accounting Manager at Communardo Nordics

Communardo has existed for 25 years, and five years ago we were acquired by a private equity firm. Since then, the journey has been rapid. Acquisitions in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway have grown the Nordic operations to around 100 employees, with offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Karlstad, among others. The headquarters is located in Dresden. In addition to the Nordics and Germany, the company operates in the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland, with offshore teams in Morocco and Albania.

Communardo is thus on an exciting growth journey, and the expansion in the Nordics means that a finance function is being built up. We are therefore looking for an Accounting Manager who wants to take ownership of the Swedish accounting, based in Karlstad.

About the role

You will be responsible for accounting in Sweden (and potentially more countries in the Nordics in the future) and will work closely with the incoming Finance Manager Nordics, as well as colleagues in the Nordic organization.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Ongoing accounting and year-end closing
• Liquidity monitoring and banking matters
• VAT and employer declarations
• Intercompany invoicing and accounting
• Reporting to the group
• Coordination of the payroll process
• Development of routines, processes, and working methods

You will join the company at an exciting stage where much is already working well, while there are significant opportunities to influence how the finance function develops moving forward.

Who are you?

We believe you are independent in accounting and closing processes and have no problem taking responsibility for the entire accounting flow. You have experience from a group environment, or a good understanding of group accounting and intercompany invoicing.

As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating with others and have the ability to make complex financial matters understandable.
