Are you a lawyer ready to make a difference? We need more litigation lawyers who are proactive and willing to take responsibility. The Division for Disability and Permanently Reduced Work Capacity administers a large number of social insurance benefits, including assistance allowance, sickness and activity compensation, and compensation for work-related injuries. The Legal Support business area is responsible for the division's review activities, court proceedings, and case-handling-related legal support. Together, this business area should serve as a driving force and engine for legal quality work within the division. The litigation law unit is now to be strengthened with additional colleagues.

Legal Issues, Hearings, and Development

As a litigation lawyer, you represent the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in social insurance cases in the Administrative Court and the Administrative Court of Appeal. The work involves both written case handling and oral hearings. The role also includes quality development work, where you actively work to improve our methods and participate in legal quality follow-ups. The position may also involve other legal tasks, such as responding to inquiries and preparations, and driving and contributing to learning, development, and improvement work.

In the role of litigation lawyer, you handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who are to work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for you who

  • have a law degree
  • are qualified as a notary or have equivalent competence, for example, other experience from the courts or from review and/or appeal processes within a government agency
  • have good teamwork skills and can act on your own initiative
  • are proactive and take responsibility for high-quality results
  • have a systematic and meticulous work approach
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • communicate clearly, clearly, and structured.

It is meritorious if you

  • have current experience of social insurance cases in the administrative court
  • have good knowledge of administrative procedural law and social insurance law
  • have knowledge within the current division's insurance area.

Other

A number of positions, permanent full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.

In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. Remote work is possible if the work allows. In this recruitment, work psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Location(s): Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Jönköping, and Sundsvall. Interviews are planned to be held digitally between July 13 and August 4.
