The Unit for Social Services and Disability Policy works with issues within social child and youth care, individual and family care, as well as care for the elderly and persons with disabilities. The unit is also responsible for coordinating child rights policy, disability policy, and certain social insurance benefits.
The current group works with social service issues and areas within social child and youth care, including involuntary care, measures against juvenile delinquency, and preventive social work against crime. Current legislation includes, for example, the Social Services Act and the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Young People (LVU).
The tasks are varied and qualified. For the current position, the primary focus is on drafting proposals for government committee reviews (lagrådsremisser) and bills, as well as analyzing and compiling background material for the government's decisions within the unit's areas of responsibility. You may represent the Government Offices in various processes and contexts. However, the area and tasks may change over time.

Your Background
We are looking for you who have:
- a completed law degree
- experience in qualified legal work
- good knowledge of the social services
- very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, as well as good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English.
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience working in the Government Offices
- experience within the social law field
- experience in strategic investigation and analysis work in state or municipal operations
- knowledge of crime prevention work
- competence as a Court of Appeal or Administrative Court assessor, or other corresponding qualified legal experience.

Other Information
We are looking for one or more persons for fixed-term appointments of one year. Start date by agreement.
