In the role of Systems Engineer, you work with system development at an overarching level, where you are responsible for breaking down customer requirements into clear system requirements and ensuring that these are translated into functioning technical solutions. You contribute to system design and describe how the systems should be realized in both hardware and software, while ensuring that the solution makes sense from a holistic perspective.

The work also involves planning how the system should be tested and verified to meet customer requirements. You have a technically leading role in the projects and support the teams in structuring the work, especially in early project phases where requirements and solutions are not yet fully defined.

You work in long-term projects and can be involved throughout the entire development process – from early requirement formulation to final solution. The role is conducted at the system and system-of-systems level in close collaboration with other engineers, project management, and sometimes the customer and product management. If interested, the role may involve travel, primarily within Sweden.

We are looking for you who:

• Previously have worked as a Systems Engineer or in a related technical role where you have encountered both hardware and software.
• Experience in systems work involving requirements management, system design based on requirements, and work in multidisciplinary environments is highly relevant.
• Understand the systems perspective and are accustomed to looking at the big picture rather than diving deep into a single technical discipline.
• Have experience and knowledge in Radio Frequency (RF). You should have a good conceptual understanding of how RF affects systems and implementation, be able to reason about RF-related issues, understand relationships, and participate in technical discussions.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English.
• A Master of Science in Engineering is an asset but not a requirement – relevant technical background and experience weigh at least as heavily.

You have a genuine interest in technology and thrive working at a systems-overarching level, where understanding the big picture is more important than detailed focus on a single component. We also appreciate that you are curious about and interested in RF.

Furthermore, you are comfortable with theoretical reasoning and system descriptions, but also appreciate working close to practice. You have the ability to work with functional blocks and higher-level system descriptions, as well as seeing how technical choices affect the whole.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary

Scope: Full-time, permanent
