Do you want a key role as a system developer in the operation and modernization of systems that secure Sweden's electricity supply? Svenska Kraftnät is in an expansion phase where we are building tomorrow's smart grid. As part of this, we are currently working on modernizing our IT landscape.
Svenska Kraftnät is a key player in the energy transition, and our IT division is growing to enable doubled electricity production and a fossil-free future. With the latest technology, we are increasing both the infrastructure's capacity and the pace of development in digitalization and processes.
About the role
We are looking for someone who wants to combine application management with platform development and migration to more modern technology.
In this role, you will have broad technical overall responsibility, ranging from application code to the underlying infrastructure. You will work with "Mäster," which is built on an Oracle solution with interfaces in Forms and WebLogic. You will configure environments, further develop critical business logic, and ensure stable operations. We are currently transitioning from Solaris to Linux.
Main responsibilities:
- Management and development of the application
- Active participation in projects for migrating the application
- Configuration, operation, and optimization of WebLogic in the new Linux environment as needed
- Database development and programming/debugging in PL/SQL
- Ensuring high availability, performance, and security at the interface between the application and the operating system
- Using scripts and automation to streamline processes and platform operations as needed
Here, you will work on a socially critical mission together with colleagues with high technical competence and strong social engagement.
We offer a secure employment within the state with flexible working arrangements and good opportunities for competence development.
About you
Requirements:
As a person, you enjoy solving problems and have an analytical mind, but also a creative streak that allows you to find new ways forward. You take responsibility for your work, drive things to completion, and have a structured approach to getting things done.
You are a team player who thrives on collaboration and sharing knowledge with your colleagues, and you communicate clearly and simply. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
You must also adhere to the Swedish government's value base (https://www.statskontoret.se/forvaltningskultur/den-statliga-vardegrunden/).
Furthermore, you have a post-secondary education in IT or equivalent relevant work experience. You also have:
- At least 7 years of experience in database development in PL/SQL
- At least 5 years of experience configuring and managing security features in Linux/Unix.
- Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- Good experience from Oracle Forms and WebLogic Server.
- Experience with network configuration and management of certificates and security patches in Linux and WebLogic environments.
