We are looking for an operational and business-driven Financial Controller who wants to take a key role in our organization and contribute to our journey towards enabling smart cities, with a clear focus on sustainability. As a central part of the team, you report directly to the CEO and actively participate in shaping the direction of the business.

To succeed in this role, you need to enjoy working closely with the operations and feel confident owning the entire financial process. This includes everything from ongoing bookkeeping and group reporting to monthly and annual accounts, budgeting, and financial analysis. You are structured and meticulous, but also have the ability to see the big picture and translate financial data into concrete insights that support important business decisions.

This role suits you if you thrive in a smaller organization where priorities can change quickly and where collaboration is crucial. You will work closely with colleagues and counterparts in several legal entities and countries. Flexibility, responsibility, and a proactive approach are essential for succeeding and developing in the role.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ongoing bookkeeping and management of supplier and customer accounts
  • Weekly reporting to Fagerhult Group
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
  • Annual report and collaboration with the company's auditor
  • Financial analysis and tracking against KPIs
  • Support the CEO and management team in the budgeting process
  • Analyze and improve internal processes, including ERP

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in bookkeeping, controlling, and reporting
  • Experience from smaller organizations with broad responsibilities
  • Experience from an international group is an advantage
  • Interest in technology is a plus

Qualifications

  • University education in a relevant field
  • 3–5 years of experience in finance
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • ERP experience (Fortnox is an advantage)
