We are looking for a meticulous and experienced accountant for a consultancy assignment via Lernia. This position is ideal for you who have good knowledge of ongoing accounting, monthly and annual financial statements, and thrive in a role where you work both independently and collaborate with colleagues to ensure correct financial management.

The position is a consultancy assignment via Lernia. The assignment is full-time with the possibility of extension for the right person.

About the Role

As an accountant, you will be responsible for ongoing accounting, financial statement work, and reporting. You will become a central part of the finance department and work closely with finance and business managers to ensure fair financial information and efficient procedures.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ongoing bookkeeping and voucher handling
• Monthly and annual financial statements including reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable as well as invoice processing
• Reconciliations against bank, balance accounts, and projects/cost centers
• Financial statement support and assistance during audits
• Reporting to management and support in budgeting and forecasting
• Development and improvement of procedures and processes within the finance function
• Collaboration with other departments to ensure correct processes and information flows

About You

Formal Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in finance or equivalent work experience
• Several years of experience in accounting and financial statement work
• Proficiency in business and financial systems, as well as very good Excel skills
• Experience working with accounts payable and receivable
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Systems such as Visma, Fortnox, or similar
• Work in small or medium-sized companies where broad finance functions are present
• Experience with group accounting or project-based accounting

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and meticulous. You enjoy responsibility, have an eye for detail, and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You are eager to contribute to improvement work and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.
