About the role

As Teamlead Payroll, you are responsible for leading and developing Greenstep's Payroll team in Stockholm. You combine close and coaching leadership with operational responsibility and become an important part of the team's continued development.

The Payroll team currently consists of approximately ten payroll consultants distributed across three locations and is in an exciting growth phase. Over the coming year, the team will continue to grow, meaning you will play a key role in developing employees, working methods, and the business. Here you work together with experienced colleagues in an environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a non-hierarchical approach are a natural part of everyday life.

In the role, you coach and support the team in their daily work while ensuring high quality in deliveries and contributing to a good customer experience. You act as a support in complex payroll matters, participate in the onboarding of new customers, and assist in operational customer assignments as needed. Together with other Teamleads, you continuously work on developing processes, working methods, and quality within the Payroll business.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, and develop the Payroll team in Stockholm.
• Have personnel responsibility with development talks, feedback, and ongoing follow-up.
• Ensure high quality in the team's deliveries and a good customer experience.
• Support the team in complex payroll and labor law matters.
• Participate in the onboarding of new customers.
• Assist in operational payroll management as needed.
• Drive improvements in routines, processes, and working methods together with other Teamleads.
• Collaborate closely with other business areas to ensure high quality in customer deliveries.
• Maintain ongoing contact with Swedish and international customers.

Qualifications:

• Approximately 10 years of experience as a payroll consultant.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish payroll administration and labor law.
• Experience working with multiple parallel customers and complex payroll assignments.
• Previous experience in leadership and personnel responsibility.
• Post-secondary education in payroll, economics, or equivalent.
• Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. The role involves daily contact with international HR departments and requires that you can communicate Swedish laws, regulations, and payroll processes in English without difficulty.
• Good system competence and experience with various payroll systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Authorization as a payroll specialist.
• Experience with Flex HRM.
• Experience from consulting or other customer-oriented businesses.
• Experience working in an international organization.
