About the workplace
Svea Court of Appeal is the country's largest court of appeal with approximately 480 employees. The court's main task is to review cases and matters that have been appealed from the district courts within the court's jurisdiction. Svea Court of Appeal consists of nine judicial divisions and an administrative unit. The administrative unit has just over 50 employees and consists of four sections: HR, Archives, Registry, and Security and Service.

About the position
On the HR section, eight employees work, of whom four have an HR focus, including the section manager. In addition, there are four employees working with finance, the library, and the administrative diary.
We are now looking for an HR Specialist for a permanent position. We apply a six-month probation period.
As an HR Specialist, you primarily work with providing support to the operations' managers. This can involve counseling, information, administration, and training within the HR area. You are an important representative of the court as an employer and ensure that your support is in accordance with laws, regulations, guidelines, and procedures, as well as labor law issues, salary reviews, and salary formation, based on the state's value base. The need for support may change over time, but common tasks include recruitment, systematic work environment work, competence supply, and the development of procedures and documents. Various types of individual cases and rehabilitation are also areas where you provide support and guidance to managers.
You report to the HR Section Manager.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have an academic degree in personnel management or equivalent education that we find relevant. You have previous experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or similar, and are looking for a workplace where you can continue to develop, together with us. You have previously worked in HR within public operations, but experience from other types of organizations is also an asset. You have relevant experience of management support within labor law, recruitment, collective bargaining and cooperation, and systematic work environment work.
It can be meritorious if you have previously worked with various types of investigations of individual cases within the HR area.
As a person, we are looking for you who are result-oriented, solution-focused, quality-conscious, careful, responsible, and structured, and who have a good ability to build relationships. You express yourself well verbally and can adapt your message based on the recipient. You are a team player and contribute to a good social work environment and can also act independently within your role.
To be considered for employment, you must meet high demands regarding judgment, responsibility, safety awareness, and suitability. This means that you stand up for democratic values and the state value base that governs the operations of Sweden's courts. The state value base contains the six principles of democracy, legality, objectivity, freedom of opinion formation, respect, as well as efficiency and service. We also demand that you follow Swedish laws. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. In accordance with the court's employment procedures and suitability requirements, the court will conduct register checks upon any potential employment.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start: 2026-10-01 As soon as possible according to agreement.
