About the Role
As Group Financial Controller, you will work with the consolidation and controlling of financial reporting from the company's group entities. You will work closely with all of the group's subsidiaries around the world, the company's global shared service organization, and other departments within Group Finance.
Together with your team of seven, you will advise the group on complex accounting matters and serve as the point of contact for colleagues regarding reporting and group consolidation systems. You play a key role in contributing to the company's strategy to drive efficiency and develop processes and ways of working.
You report to the company's Financial Controlling Director, who works very closely with the team. The position is located at the company's headquarters in central Stockholm.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements within given timeframes
- Perform closing adjustments and other consolidation tasks, such as reconciling and analyzing reporting from subsidiaries in the company's consolidation system, Aaro
- Internal matching and elimination of intercompany transactions
- Reconciliation of the group's equity
- Cash flow reporting
- Follow-up on restructuring projects
- Prepare financial statements and notes in interim, annual, and full-year reports
- Train and proactively support the group's business units on accounting and reporting matters
- Participate in the implementation of new IFRS standards
- Drive and participate in various group projects
Who Are You?
To thrive and succeed in this role, you are analytical, driven, and interested in digital development. You have a genuine interest in group accounting with experience preparing financial statements in medium to large organizations. Experience from international organizations is a plus.
You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively. Through trust, respect, and integrity, you build strong relationships, and you are motivated by inspiring and engaging people around you.
About You
- University degree in economics, accounting, business administration, or a corresponding relevant field
- At least 5 years of combined experience in financial controlling, auditing, or accounting
- Experience working with consolidation systems is an advantage
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish
