About the Workplace

The court's main task is to review cases and matters appealed from the district courts within its jurisdiction. Svea Court of Appeal consists of nine judicial divisions and one administrative unit. The administrative unit has just over 50 employees and comprises four sections: HR, Archives, Registry, and Security and Service.

Svea Court of Appeal offers an attractive workplace, beautifully located in a culturally and historically significant environment on Riddarholmen in central Stockholm. We strive to be an open and modern workplace and value diversity among our staff regarding age, gender, ethnic, and cultural background.

About the Position

The HR section consists of eight employees, four of whom have an HR focus, including the section manager. Additionally, there are four employees working with finance, the library, and the administrative diary.

We are currently looking for an HR Specialist for a fixed-term temporary position.

As an HR Specialist, your primary responsibility is to support the organization's managers. This may involve counseling, information, and administration within the HR field. You will be a key representative of the Court of Appeal as an employer and ensure that your support complies with laws, regulations, guidelines, and routines. The need for support varies based on operational requirements, but the main focus will be on recruitment, onboarding, follow-up of safety rounds, and minute-taking within collaboration.

You have experience independently driving recruitment processes from needs analysis and job profiles to selection, interviews, reference checks, and employment. You are accustomed to independently managing all steps of the recruitment process and can ensure a professional and high-quality candidate experience throughout the process in a structured manner. You have a good ability to independently plan, execute, and follow up on recruitments for various types of roles in close collaboration with hiring managers. In addition, you have experience with administrative HR work and other managerial support.

You report to the HR Section Manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic degree in Human Resources or equivalent education that we find relevant. You have previous experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or similar, and are seeking a workplace where you can continue to develop, together with us. You have previously worked in HR within the public sector, but experience from other types of organizations is also an asset. Experience with HR work within the judiciary can be merit-based, but an overall assessment of how quickly you can get up to speed in the role, given that it is a temporary position, is most important to us.

As a person, we are looking for you who are result-oriented, solution-focused, quality-conscious, meticulous, responsible, and structured, as well as having good relationship-building skills. You have communicative skills and can adapt your message to the recipient. You are a team player who contributes to a good social work environment and can also act independently within your role.

To be considered for employment, you must meet high demands regarding judgment, responsibility, security awareness, and suitability. This means that you uphold democratic values and the public sector values that govern the operations of Sweden's courts. The public sector values include the six principles of democracy, legality, objectivity, freedom of opinion formation, respect, as well as efficiency and service. We also require that you follow Swedish laws. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. In accordance with the Court of Appeal's employment procedures and suitability requirements, the Court will conduct register checks upon a potential employment.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
