The tasks involve participating in the development of the government's work in the cyber and hybrid field. The duties include working on policy development and handling both national and international issues, with a primary focus on cybersecurity, digitalization, and emerging technologies such as AI. Performing these tasks requires close collaboration with the unit's other case handlers and with other relevant case handlers within the Government Offices, as well as maintaining continuous contact with authorities and other relevant actors.
The Unit for Cyber and Hybrid Issues currently has approximately 20 employees and is responsible for the coordination, governance, and development of issues concerning cyber defence, cybersecurity, psychological defence, and hybrid issues. In this role, you will be part of the Cyber and Hybrid Coordination Group.

Your background
To be considered for this role, you must meet all mandatory requirements and preferably also the merit criteria.
Requirements:
- Relevant academic degree or other relevant degree or education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Relevant experience of policy work at a national or international level.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish civil service.
- Good skills in oral and written presentation, in both Swedish and English.
Merits:
- Current experience from working as a case handler with relevant issues at the Government Offices, an authority, or equivalent within the unit's subject areas.
- Experience of policy work in or towards multilateral organizations such as the EU or NATO.
- Experience of policy-related work linked to emerging technologies.
- Understanding of the security political situation and how it affects the work with cyber and hybrid issues.

The vacancy is for a fixed-term employment of approximately 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Start date: as soon as possible. Travel may occur.
