Do you want to lead complex local facility projects that make a real difference in a socially vital operation? We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for strategic local and real estate projects – from idea and planning to implementation and handover.

This is a long-term consulting assignment with one of Sweden's most significant public operations, where you will become a key player in a comprehensive local program with projects across the country.

You will become part of a program responsible for the development and establishment of modern administrative premises and office environments. The assignment covers both larger establishments and smaller tenant adaptations where you are responsible for driving projects from start to finish.

You work closely with program management, steering groups, and operations while coordinating external parties such as property owners, consultants, and contractors.

• 📍 Lead local and real estate projects through the entire project lifecycle

• 🏢 Conduct site searches and drive new establishments

• 🤝 Responsible for rent negotiations and dialogue with property owners

• 📝 Prepare needs analyses and requirement specifications

• 📊 Responsible for the project schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables

• ⚠️ Identify and manage risks according to established project methods

• 📈 Report project status to program management and steering groups

• 📚 Ensure documentation, final report, and handover to administration

• 💡 Contribute to the development of long-term strategies within local supply

✔ A civil engineering degree in fields such as civil engineering, road and water engineering, architecture, or land surveying.

✔ At least 10 years of experience as a project manager.

✔ At least 5 years of experience in project management within tenant adaptation of commercial premises or office projects.

✔ Solid experience in process development related to real estate and local projects.

✔ Driven several local projects from the early stages to completion with full responsibility for:

• Schedule

• Budget

• Calculation

• Resources

• Communication

✔ Experience with:

• Rental law and rent negotiation

• Review of rental agreements

• Representing the tenant between property owners and contractors

• Reporting to steering groups and management

It is also meritorious if you have worked with:

• Public sector

• Security-classified or security-sensitive operations

• Strategic work within local supply and local programs

• Structured and solution-oriented

• Business-minded and confident in negotiations

• A clear leader with good collaboration skills

• Accustomed to handling multiple stakeholders simultaneously

• Communicative and skilled at building trust

📌 Location: Stockholm, Sundbyberg

🏡 Hybrid work: Up to 50% remote work

✈️ Travel to other locations in Sweden occurs

📅 Assignment period: October 2026 – October 2028, with possibility of extension

⏳ Scope: Part-time 60–80%
