We are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to join Greenstep's team in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Norrköping. About the Role

As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will have a consultative and business-close role where you are responsible for your own client portfolio with both Swedish and international clients. You work closely with your clients and act as a advisory partner while ensuring high quality in delivery and contributing to the development of their finance functions.

You will become part of Greenstep's accounting team of over 40 employees distributed across five teams. Here, you work together with experienced colleagues where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a non-hierarchical approach are a natural part of everyday life. Even though you have significant individual responsibility, colleagues are always nearby to discuss questions, share experiences, and create the best solutions for customers together.

In addition to qualified accounting work, you will have the opportunity to work on consulting assignments such as budgeting, business analysis, cash flow analysis, and group accounting. You will also contribute to the team's development by supporting and sharing your knowledge with junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for your own client portfolio and ensuring high quality in deliveries.
• Work with ongoing accounting and prepare monthly, periodic, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare annual reports, tax calculations, and income tax returns.
• Provide qualified advice and financial reporting to clients.
• Participate in consulting assignments such as budgeting, business analysis, cash flow analysis, and group accounting.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the development and efficiency of clients' financial processes.
• Mentor and support junior colleagues through knowledge sharing and coaching.

Your Profile

You are motivated by creating long-term client relationships and driven by finding solutions that create value for the client. At the same time, you have a strong focus on quality and an interest in developing alongside new working methods, digitalization, and changing client needs.

Qualifications:

• University degree in economics or accounting.
• At least five years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• At least five years of experience working independently with closing, annual reports, tax calculations, and declarations.
• Experience working with larger and more complex companies or international groups.
• Good system proficiency and experience with various business and accounting systems.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience from an accounting firm or other consulting activities.
• Experience working in a multi-client environment.
• Authorization as an accounting consultant.
• Experience with NetSuite, Fortnox, Capego, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Interest in digitalization and the development of financial processes.
