We are looking for an experienced and driven fund manager with in-depth knowledge of emerging markets. You will take independent responsibility for a fund focused on small-cap companies in emerging markets – one of the most dynamic and complex segments in global equity management. The role requires substantial regional experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex geopolitical and market landscapes.

You will become part of the Emerging Markets team within Robur's global equity management, responsible for both regional funds and industry and thematic funds. The equity management division belongs to Investment Management and manages a total of approximately 1,000 billion SEK across about thirty funds.

At Swedbank, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Play a key role with full management responsibility for a specialized fund within one of the world's most exciting and complex investment universes.

  • Shape and continue to develop an investment process where sustainability is a natural and integrated part.

  • Make independent decisions regarding company selection and portfolio construction – with strong collegial support.

  • Access Robur's broad global network of analysts, company contacts, and specialists across most asset classes.

  • Collaborate closely with experienced fund managers, traders, and analysts within Investment Management.

  • Represent Robur externally – to clients, media, and at international conferences within the region.

  • Be part of Robur's ambition to become a global leader in sustainable value creation.

In this role, you will need:
  • A relevant university degree in economics and/or technology.

  • At least 10 years of documented experience in professional equity management with a clear focus on emerging markets – experience in the small-cap segment is advantageous.

  • In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, macroeconomic, and company-specific dynamics of emerging market regions – you understand how regional conditions drive individual stocks.

  • A genuine interest in the role of sustainability issues as an integrated part of the investment process.

  • Strong analytical skills combined with good communication skills – you can convey complex investment ideas clearly, both internally and externally.

  • The ability to challenge, inspire, and collaborate with colleagues – you generously share your knowledge and experience.

  • The willingness and opportunity to travel within the region and attend relevant conferences and company meetings.

  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

  • A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment – you are self-driven but enjoy working in a team.

At Swedbank, you can experience:
  • Personal and professional development through self-leadership and continuous development.

  • Meaningful work that positively impacts our workplace, our customers, and society.

  • An open and collaborative culture that encourages cross-functional teamwork and offers networking opportunities.

  • A supportive and inclusive environment that promotes a balanced and sustainable work-life situation, with flexible working conditions when appropriate for the role.

  • Benefits such as our offer of bank products for employees, a pension plan, and a wellness allowance.

"Become part of our team and...

At Swedbank Robur, we have an open, simple, and inclusive environment where we learn from each other. Welcome to become part of a successful team and contribute to our continued development."
