Do you want to work with advanced technical documentation and transform complex information into clear, usable instructions? Combitech is looking for an experienced Technical Writer to take on a central role in projects within the defense and industry sectors. Here, you will work closely with engineers and specialists in an environment where quality, structure, and technical depth are paramount.

The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Create and update technical documentation such as manuals, instructions, and handbooks
• Structure and quality-assure technical publications according to established regulations and standards
• Make complex technical information easy to understand in Swedish and English, supported by STE (Simple Technical Editing)
• Collaborate with engineers and technical experts to gather and validate information
• Ensure quality, traceability, and version control in documentation
• Contribute to the development and optimization of documentation processes and tools
• Take a leading role in documentation work within projects, including coordination and guidance

We are looking for someone who

• Has an engineering degree or equivalent relevant education
• Has several years of experience in technical information or as a technical writer
• Has experience working with standards such as S1000D and STE
• Has experience with XML-based tools and editors
• Has excellent command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has strong pedagogical skills and can clarify complex technical information
• Works independently while thriving in collaboration with others
• Is structured, meticulous, and drives your work to completion with high quality

Depending on the assignment, the work is performed either on-site at the customer's location or from our offices. We work both within the defense industry and with civilian customers, providing a wide variety of assignments.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and pass a security clearance with register check.
