Operations Coordinator for LSS in Mjölby Municipality

LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) is one of the department's five operational areas, with the purpose of enabling an independent, active, and secure life for people with disabilities. Within LSS, we employ unit managers, operations coordinators, administrators, support pedagogues, care assistants, housing support workers, and support assistants.

Job Responsibilities

As an operations coordinator, you have a central role within LSS. The role is broad and includes several important tasks that contribute to a functioning operation.

The assignment includes assisting the manager in developing and quality-assuring the operation based on its goals. You will be involved in creating an operation that achieves positive qualitative and quantitative results through planning, development, and follow-up. The position is organized under the LSS unit managers, but you also work closely with several employee groups, including within housing services.

The assignment includes working together with the unit manager to:

  • Analyze and plan staffing requirements based on operational needs.
  • Ensure daily operations through personnel planning, scheduling, and handling and planning new and changed decisions for users.
  • Develop, update, and follow up on routines and working methods, ensuring that laws, regulations, and guidelines are known to employees and followed in daily work.
  • Plan the introduction of new employees and coordinate various training sessions and meetings.
  • Handle common administrative tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)
  • At least two years of experience in administrative work/coordinator functions with tasks such as invoice handling, accounting, ordering, and purchasing, or similar experience deemed suitable by the employer
  • Good computer and system skills
  • Previous experience working in healthcare and social services
  • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to create and maintain good relationships within the operations and with other stakeholders

We consider it an advantage if you have:

  • Previous experience with scheduling and short- and long-term personnel planning
  • Education in leadership and/or personnel logistics
  • Experience with systems such as Medvind and Personec P
  • Experience working in the public sector
