Your Role

If you want to work actively to ensure quality in working methods and delivery to customers, you might be our new Project Quality Manager.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally with many interfaces, primarily within our projects focusing on delivering advanced airborne surveillance systems such as Global Eye. Together with experienced colleagues, you will ensure that we deliver what we promise to the customer with the right quality.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Create and maintain quality plans and documentation for projects by clarifying and ensuring compliance with internal processes and routines, standards, regulations, and customer requirements, including quality plans, procedures, and audit reports.
• Ensure that deliveries meet the quality requirements in the project.
• Handle deviations, drive investigations, perform root cause analyses, and secure working methods for the future.
• Drive improvement activities individually and in groups.
• Ensure clear and effective working methods.
• Maintain close contact with other quality roles within the business.
• Support project management in quality-related matters.
• Conduct and participate in audits and inspections.
• Identify and follow up on quality objectives, and analyze and transfer relevant quality objectives to and from stakeholders.

You will become part of a team of approximately ten people who work to support the business with methods and routines. We identify development potential and work to create conditions for the business to be carried out in an efficient and systematic way.

We are characterized by an open, non-hierarchical, and family-like culture where we conduct continuous improvement work and where communication channels are short. You will belong to the Quality and Operation Support section, where support is available from your colleagues in areas such as quality and business development.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• Knowledge and understanding of quality work, as well as experience with relevant tools and methods.
• Basic competence in production and/or product development.
• Be sensitive to the needs of the business.
• Knowledge of the Office suite.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have an engineering degree or equivalent, preferably within quality.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
